Beijing  University of Agriculture and Harper Adams University College has signed a higher education cooperation  agreement  which has been confirmed by State  Depertment  Council of  China. At present,this cooperation contains two courses,BSC/BSC (Honours) International Business Management and BSc/BSc Honours Food Quality with Retail Management.The students who join this programme will spent the first year on a BUA foundation Course to improve their English skill and the following 2 year studying on the join BUA/HAU degree course at ICBUA.In the final year the students will go to the UK and study in Harper Adams University .All the modules in the four-year study are delivered in English.The students on both courses will receive degree Diplomas from both Beijing  University of Agriculture and Harper Adams University .

LELTS Band in the following section no lower than:Band 4.5 forlistening and speaking,Band 5.0for reading and writing.

Requirements for Language Competency and Exam Skills

1  Build up vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure to improve competency in speaking, reading, listening and writing in English.

2  Write a report describing a process, graph or table of figures

3  Write an essay to argue or to state viewpoints

4  Read an article, identify the main ideas ,major facts and opinions

5  Comprehend dialogues and speeches and take  notes on them

6  Give fluent 2-3-minute-talk and present personal opinion fluently

7  Be familiar with the different question types to be encountered in IELTS

  • Year 1 Modules (Certificate level)

In the first year, you will learn 8 modules (including English); the number of credits for each module is 15. These modules do not contribute to your degree classification. However, you must earn 120 credits by passing these modules, in order to proceed to Year 2. The grades you are awarded will also be included on the degree transcript that you receive on graduation.

  •  Year 2 Modules (Intermediate level)

There are 8 modules (including English) in Year 2. Successful completion of these modules will accumulate 120 credits towards your final degree. In the calculation of your final mark for Honours Degree classification, the marks you obtain on these modules will contribute 30% of their value to the weighted average.
