BSc/BSc Honours International Business Management

 

This undergraduate programme is jointly launched by Beijing University of Agriculture, China (BUA) and Harper Adams University , UK (HAU). In their last year in UK , the bachelor degree in Economics and Arts will be granted to the students by BUA andthe BSc/BSc (Hons)International Business Management by HAU. 

 

With the rapid development of global economic integration and domestic economy, China will participate in international trade and various business activities more actively and effectively. As a result, there will be a large demand for well trained personnel with multi-disciplinary experience. International business management course is designed to involve different subjects varied from management, economy, trade, finance, logistics and computer science. The educational aims include developing student subject knowledge, and skills related to economy and international business management, understanding the up-to-date development of international economy and international business and familiarizing with the international business rules, practice and regulations of major nations and regions in the world.  In addition, we concentrate on training the students into talented personnel who have a strong ability to combine theory with practice and developing the personal effectiveness and employability of students, in particular their ability to learn, to communicate, to work with others and to solve problems. 

The possible professional careers of the students may include working in multi-national companies, joint ventures, institutions, and government agencies in China or foreign countries engaging in business operation, management, marketing and research.
